Andrew is currently studying a Bachelor of Arts degree, double majoring in Policy Studies and English at Mount Royal University, in Calgary, Alberta.
In his first 4-years, Andrew has been actively involved in campus politics and clubs. Andrew became involved with the Generation Screwed campaign in 2014, and shortly thereafter became the Campus Coordinator. Andrew played a key role in the very first Generation Screwed Calgary Action forum, which garnered over 120 supporters in attendance.
In addition to his role with Generation Screwed, Andrew has gained valuable experience with other campus clubs and summer internships. He is currently the President of Mount Royal University Model United Nations Club and the Policy Studies Students Society. Each of these roles has given Andrew an opportunity to work beside a diverse group of students and faculty members. Last Summer, Andrew completed the 2017 Scotia Bank Internship with the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. This position gave him first-hand experience in a Policy Analyst role and allowed him to publish his first report on the property tax unfairness facing small business owners.
